Wine Tour - In September we took a wine tour with 50 students to the Maurice Cari’rie Winery in Temecula. It was a huge success! All students received a picnic lunch; complements of The Cooking Store, and the winery provided twelve different tastings of their various wine selections. A tour was given of the winery’s facilities with the head vintner where we all got to experience wine barrel tasting. This tour exceeded everyone’s expectations! Look for our next Wine Tour after the first of the year.
Holiday Happenings! - The store is decorated for the holidays and they are rapidly approaching! The Cooking Store will be having several upcoming sales for your holiday shopping. Look for our special Le Creuset cookware sale in December and continuing on into January.
Making New Year’s Resolutions - January is the time to make a healthy change. The Cooking Store will be offering several healthy cooking classes for many of your dietary needs.
Valentine’s Day - This year’s Valentine’s Day Dinner Class will be a special romantic meal, plated for two. It will feature Rob’s special Valentine Dinner that he prepared while working at the Hotel del Coronado. This will be a very special night for everyone that comes.
St. Patrick’s Day - Join us for this traditional Irish holiday where we prepare all the classic dishes including the serving of green beer. So come dressed in green and be ready to eat and have fun!
Guest Chefs - The Cooking Store is continuing to feature popular guest chefs–such as Phyllis Carey, David Church, and Kirk Campbell & Laurent Baillon. Look for classes taught by our new instructors in this quarter’s calendar.
